Chronicles of Activism

chronicles of social activism

Albert's steadfastness and dedication have been inspired by a number of historical life events and experiences;

some great triumphs against all odds, fondly identified as key milestones of the progressive movement:

      1. The campaign against the iron curtain that lead to the fall of the Berlin wall and despotic regimes of the Eastern Bloc

      2. The anti-apartheid struggle that united a rainbow of forces and brought an end to a deplorable epoch of human history

      3. The unprecedented demand by the Jubilee Campaign for debt cancellation that changed the discourse on debt

      4. His first hands-on national election, which defeated a political dynasty and elected the first African-American President
